Evelyn C. Plumer

Evelyn C. Plumer, 72, of 66 Worfield Circle in Bristol and formerly of Madbury died on February 21, 2002 at Mountain Ridge Nursing Home in Franklin after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Plumer was born on July 12, 1929 the daughter of the late Gaylord and Helen (Pope) Cummings. She was born and raised in Bristol and attended Bristol High School. She later attended and graduated from Lasell Junior College in Newton, MA. She worked for Strawberry Bank in Portsmouth in the 1980's and then moved back to Bristol in 1987. She was involved in many community services and enjoyed volunteering her time. Family members include; three sons, Bruce Plumer of South Lake Tahoe, CA, Daniel Plumer of Groton, NH and Jonathan Plumer of South Lake Tahoe, CA; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Nordstrom of Pinehurst, NC ; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard C. Plumer, in 1979. A Memorial Service will be held in the spring at Inspiration Point in Bristol.
