Faith Bea Clapp

Faith Bea Clapp, 80, of Alton, New Hampshire.and Naples, Florida, died on Monday, October 24, 2022 at Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord. She was born on August 28, 1942 in Lynn, MA.

Faith’s greatest love of all was her husband, Joe. She had a true passion for spending time with family and friends. The family house on the lake was a gathering spot for all those she loved. She hosted many lively porch parties. Faith loved games of all kinds – Scrabble, Spite and Malice, Dominos. And despite not liking the game of golf, she played quite a bit to be social with her friends. She had a passion for decorating, designing and home improvement. She was an avid gardener and liked nothing more than pruning her plants. She loved animals of all kinds especially the family pets and the hummingbirds that visited her feeders daily. 

Faith was the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Sandler) Litvack.  She was the beloved wife of Joseph Clapp. They were married on March 24, 1962 in Quincy, MA.

Faith graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School in 1960, and later worked at the Sears Headquarters in Boston, the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston and as a lighting consultant for the Hanover Lighting Center.

Along with her husband of 60 years, Joseph, Faith is survived by her children: Joseph Clapp Jr. and his wife Paula of Plympton Ma, Erik Clapp and his wife Lynda of Cumberland Maine, and Christopher Clapp and his wife Jen of Hanover MA; her six grandchildren Zack, Amanda, CJ, Noah, Henry, and Grace; and three great-grandchildren: Garrison, Miles, and Wyatt; her brother Joseph Litvack and his wife Brenda of Hingham, MA, her brother-in-law Steven Clapp his wife Nancy and many nieces and nephews; and of course her beloved poodle Ginger.
