Faye Dalle Molle, 100

Fedele Colomba Dalle Molle (nee Bertoletti), 100, passed away on December 6, 2015 in Concord, New Hampshire. She was born in Enterprise, Iowa on August 29, 1915 to Giovanni Bertoletti and Luigia Berardelli, immigrants from the Province of Bergamo in Italy.

Faye grew up in Iowa, North Dakota and in Chicago. She was an accomplished artist at a young age and studied drawing and painting at the Art Institute of Chicago and with Sister Mary Stanisia at the Chicago Art Guild at Longwood, The Academy of Our Lady.

Faye married Louis Dalle Molle in 1936 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago, where they were both parishioners for many years. In 1950 Faye and Louis become mushroom growers, briefly in Avondale, Pennsylvania before settling in Hockessin, Delaware. They were married for 40 years, until Louis' death in 1976. Faye continued to live in Delaware for many years and also lived periodically with her children in New Hampshire, New York and Illinois before settling permanently in Henniker, NH in 2002.

Faye is survived by her children Rita and Paul, her daughters-in-law Lois and Kathy, and by her grandchildren John, Joseph, Matthew, Daniel, Kayla, Diana and Michael. She was preceded in death by her son John, and by her siblings Louis, Mary, Lena, Clara, Julia, Battista, Enrica, Joseph and Florence.

A private funeral service will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Hockessin, Delaware, with burial to follow the funeral at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Ashland, Delaware, at a date to be determined.
