Florence A. Almeida

Florence Almeida, 86, of Dover, died April 29, 2003, at the Riverside Nursing Home, Dover, NH. She wss born in Revere, Massachusetts on August 15, 1916, the daughter of the late Joseph and Charlotte (Portebeouf) Bradburn and moved to Rochester in 1983 from Ft. Myers, Florida. She was the widow of Roderick Almeida for 47 years before his death in 1989. Florence was a homemaker and she enjoyed walking and daily trips to Dover and Portsmouth. Family members include a son, Roger Almeida and his wife Karen of New Durham, NH, two grandsons and one great grandson. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend a committal service for Florence on May 11th at 10 AM in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 419, Concord, NH 03301 or to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
