Frances Roy Bresnahan, 84, of Manchester, died after a brief illness at the Elliot Hospital on April 5, 2005. Mrs. Bresnahan was born October 14, 1920 in Manchester, NH. The daughter of Laurent Roy and Albina (Roy). She graduated from St. George High School and worked for 28 years as the assistant to the registrar at St. Anselm College. She was a member of the St. Annes Guild at St. Joseph Cathedral parish in Manchester, NH. and a life long parishioner. Family members include two daughters, Madelaine Gilmartin of Manchester, and Patricia Webb of Londonderry; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In her life, she leaves behind her grandsons Colin, Brendan and Ryan Gilmartin of Manchester; Moira Gagnon, Kevin & Brian Bresnahan of Manchester; and Ellen McGrath of Los Gatos, California; She was predeceased by her husband, Bernie Bresnahan in 1972. A mass of Christian burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Joseph Cathedral on Lowell Street, Thursday, April 7 at 10:00 am.
