Frances Elizabeth Burke

Of Hampton, NH - "The ocean is calling and so I must go".
With grace and dignity, Frances E. Burke, 89, passed peacefully on March 4, 2018, surrounded by her
loving children, grand- children and dogs. She lived life to its fullest by Hampton Beach.


Born July 28th 1928 in Methuen MA, Frances was one of eight and the daughter of William and Agnes
Burke of Methuen, MA. Formerly of Andover, MA, Frances was blessed to have seven children, twenty
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Mahoney of
Berwick ME, and so many beautiful nieces, nephews and dear friends.


Blessed in celebrating 82 summers at Hampton Beach and worshiping the sun on her deck year-round,
Frances will now be making new friends and spreading joy, as she did every day by the beach. She
would venture out daily to meet someone
new, as "there was never a stranger, only friends you haven't met". She will be sadly missed by so
many. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the incredible Hyder Family Hospice House in
Dover, NH and the generous Rockingham VNA nurses.
