Frances Margaret Haffermehl

Frances M. Haffermehl, 85, of Hooksett, NH formerly of Bedford, MA died December 9, 2008 at Epsom Manor in Epsom, NH. She was born on September 10, 1923 in South Dayton, NY the daughter of the late Waldemar and Kathleen (Treble) Richter. She graduated from Lexington High School. Frances worked as a legal secretary for Darling and McLaughlin in Concord and Burlington, MA. She was active in the community and civil affairs in Bedford throughout her years of residency. She was involved with the Historical Society and the Bedford Women's Group. She was predeceased by her sister, Thelma K. Richter of Norwood and her brother Wilbert J. Richter of Largo, FL. She is survived by her son, Jonathan Saunders of Burlington, MA. Her Memorial Gathering will be at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00AM with her Funeral Service to follow at 11:00AM in the Chapel of the Society.
