Frances Marjorie (Wilkinson) Russ, 91, of Bedford, died at Ridgewood Nursing Home in Bedford on June 7, 2005. She was born in Montpelier, VT on September 10, 1913, the daughter of Robert and Marjorie (Wells) Wilkinson. She grew up in Vermont and was a graduate of Middlebury College. She was a long time resident of Hancock where she was a member of the Women’s Club, the Historical Society, the PTA and the Hancock Guild. She was also a hospital aid. She was a communicant of All Saints Episcopal Church in Peterborough where she was a member of the Altar Guild. She had also resided later in her life in Concord where she belonged to Grace Episcopal Church. She was predeceased by a son, Bayard Russ who was killed in the Vietnam War. She was the widow of Alfred Russ who died in July 2003. Family members include a son, Robert Russ of Alexandria, VA; a daughter, Priscilla Malcolm of Bedford; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Concord on Saturday June 18th at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 30 Eastman Street, Concord, NH 03301. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
