Francis Frank Bemis

MANCHESTER, Francis D. Bemis (Frank), 82 passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 17, 2015.
Francis was born in Hooksett NH on September 10, 1933, to Clarence Bemis and Albertha Bemis (Bernard).
He served in the U.S. Army.
The family includes his wife of 55 years, Viola Bemis (LaPorte) of Manchester, four sons, Francis D. Bemis Jr., Ronald P. Bemis, Kenneth Bemis, and Timothy Bemis all of Manchester, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and one brother Andrew Bemis and wife Louise Bemis of Goffstown NH.
He was predeceased by four siblings.
Francis was a kind and gentle man who loved to spend time with family. He enjoyed fishing, fixing cars, going to Foxwoods and cooking for his family and friends, he had a big heart who also loved his animals.
He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Services: A Graveside Military Service will be held on December 1st, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Boscawen Veterans Cemetery, NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 D.W. Highway, Boscawen NH 03303.
