Francis C. Clark Nashua, NH Age 90 of Nashua, died Tuesday October 11th at St. Josephs Hospital in Nashua. He was born October 3, 1915 in Tyngsboro, MA the son of Shirley John and Leda (Lord) Clark. He was raised and educated in Chelmsford, and graduated from Chelmsford High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was an infantryman from 1943 to 1946. He received a battle field commission of Lieutenant, for bravery on the front lines. He worked as a superintendent at H. E. Fletcher Co. of Westford, MA for 44 years. As a young man, Francis was an avid sports enthusiast, and excelled in all sports. He continued his enthusiasm for sports, especially baseball. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He is survived by 2 Sisters, Muriel and her husband John Harrington of North Chelmsford and Elizabeth Wesson of Dracut. Sister in Law Phyllis Clark of North Chelmsford, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his Wife, Helen (McQuade) Clark. He was brother to the late Dorothy C. Hilger, Weston J. Clark, Leona (Dorsey) Kelly, Bernard V. Clark as well as Herbert S. and Allan D. Clark, both of whom were killed in the Pacific during WWII, while serving their country in the U.S. Navy. There will be no services.
