Francis X. Demers, 68, of Manchester died December 1, 2005 at Catholic Medical Center following a period of declining health. Mr. Demers was born on September 8, 1937 in Lynn, MA the son of the late George and Marie (LaFrance) Demers. Fran was raised in Lynn, MA and moved to Manchester, NH where he helped to raise three children with his wife at the time, Lucille Demers. Fran later relocated himself to Maine where he lived for many years before returning to the Manchester area where he lived until his passing. Selling and his love of antiques kept him busy and on the road. Fran worked as Director of Sales for several different hotels in his carreer some of which included the Dunfey Family Hotels in Manchester, NH, Treadway Inn in Chicopee, MA, Ascutney Mountain Resort in Ascutney, VT and Howard Johnsons in MA. Fran was the consummate salesman and enjoyed every opportunity to meet new people. His career in sales allowed him to travel and meet many personalities and he enjoyed telling stories about those people he met along the way. His family members and friends will surely miss him. Family members include; one daughter, Cheryl Sullivan of Windham, NH; two sons, Michael LeFebvre of Reno, NV and Bryan LeFebvre also of Reno, NV; Several nephews; Marc Demers, MD of Orlando, FL, Gregory Demers of Foster City, CA and Christopher Demers of Rockland, MA; and several cousins There will be no service. Burial will be in the family lot of St. Jean de Baptiste Cemetery in Lynn, MA at a later date.
