Francis Milon Lovely, 81, of 9 West Lane, died August 31, 2004 at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro. He was born in East Barre, VT on December 20, 1922, the son of Milon and Marguert (Tucker) Lovely and had lived in White River Junction, VT for over 36 years. He and had wife also resided in Florida for several years before moving to Rochester 8 years ago. He was a 1941 graduate of Lebanon High School. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He worked for Vermont Hardware for several years and retired from Oxygen and Welding Supply Company in White River Junction. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in White River, was a scout master with the boys and cub scouts and coached Little League Baseball. He loved all sports but was particularly fond of basketball. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Family members include his wife of 61 years, Evelyn (Cass) Lovely; a son, Tim Lovely of Somersworth; a daughter, Theresa Lovely of Greenfield, MA; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a brother, Maynard Lovely of Orleans, MA; a sister, Roberta Lovely-Smith of Springfield, VT and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A graveside service will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Lebanon at a late date. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements. For more information, go to www.csnh.com.
