IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frank O.
King, Jr.
June 6, 1965 – February 21, 2026
Celebration of Life
Danville Baptist Church
Starts at 11:00 am (Eastern time)
Frank O. King, Jr., age 60, of Londonderry, New Hampshire, passed peacefully into the presence of Jesus on Saturday, February 21, confident in the promise of eternal life.
Born on June 6, 1965, at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester, Massachusetts, Frank was the son of Frank O. and Sherry A. King. His life was deeply rooted in the importance of family.
Frank accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of his life at a men’s retreat at Camp Berea in Alton Bay, surrounded by more than 100 men. That decision shaped the way he lived, loved, and served others. He was baptized the following day in Alton Bay.
Frank was a devoted son, father, grandfather, and uncle. His family was the focus of his life, and he always had a story—and pictures—to share about them. He was known for his mischievous sense of humor, quick wit, and a laugh that could light up any room.
Frank loved serving others and participated for many years in mission trips to Louisiana and Texas, helping build homes for families devastated by hurricanes. He was active in the construction of The Rock Church facility in Plaistow, New Hampshire, St. Matthew’s UMC in Sandown, and served on building committees for churches in Plaistow and Fremont.
More recently, Frank became a member of Danville Baptist Church in Danville, New Hampshire.
For almost twenty years, Frank was employed by Benson Hardware and Lumber, a family company known for its integrity. Frank loved working for the Benson family, his coworkers, and especially his customers.
Frank graduated from Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School in Wenham, Massachusetts, and attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He served in the United States Army and the Army National Guard and was especially proud that his three sons also served in the United States Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy.
Frank is survived by his parents, Frank and Sherry King; his brother, Scott (Andrea); his sister, Julie; his sons, Joshua (Sara) of New Hampshire, Zachary (Kelsey) of Connecticut, and Matthew (Michelle) of Virginia; and his nieces and nephews: Jamie, Abigail, Isabella, Daniel, Levi, Frank 3rd, and Sophia. He is also survived by his former wife, Georgianna Leonard.
While we grieve his passing, we rejoice in the assurance that Frank is now in the presence of his Savior. His desire was that others would come to know the peace, forgiveness, and eternal life found only in Jesus Christ—a hope freely offered to all who place their trust in Him.
A celebration of life will be held at Danville Baptist Church, 226 Main Street, Danville, New Hampshire on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11 a.m. followed by a fellowship meal at the church.
Interment, with full military honors, will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, if you feel led, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the New Hampshire Food Bank: https://nhfoodbank.org/get-involved/donate/
