Frank Reynolds Sr., 76, of Keene, NH died Saturday, April 8, 2000 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Bennington, VT and graduated from Bennington High School with the class of 1941. He served in the Army Corps of Engineers in Europe during World War II. Mr. Reynolds moved to Brattleboro, VT in 1954 and worked there for 10 years as a salesman for Metropolitan Life insurance. He was an active member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, the Brattleboro Outing Club, and a faithful American Red Cross blood donor. In 1968 he was promoted to sales manager for Metropolitan and moved to Keene, NH. He retired in 1981. He loved to fish, garden, and spend time with his grandson. For the past 10 years he has been a familiar face at the polls as Moderator for Ward 4 in Keene. Survivors include his wife Barbara, his daughter Deborah of Keene, son Frank Reynolds of Amherst, NH, one sister, Louise Burns of East Arlington, VT, three brothers, George Reynolds of Petaluma, CA, Henry Reynolds of Bennington, VT and Ivan Reynolds of Glens Falls, NY, one grandson, and nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held at the Wright Mansion Inn, 695 Court St. Keene, NH on Saturday April 22 at 2:00 PM. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in Mr. Reynolds memory to the American Red Cross, 83 Court St. Keene, NH 03431.
