Franklin Libby

Franklin Roger Libby, 78, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, Dover, NH. He was born on August 11, 1944, in Lynn, Massachusetts, the son of the late Franklin Libby and Mary Bowley Libby.

Raised and educated in Lynn, Frank was a longtime resident of Lynn until he moved to NH in 1976. He was a talented auto body mechanic and worked many years for Taccetta Chevrolet in Newington, NH then went on to NE Auto Auction in Kittery, ME.

Frank had a deep love for his family and friends. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and had the opportunity to go to Daytona in 2008 with his son. He also enjoyed target shooting and working on guns. Frank was artistically talented and enjoyed occasionally doodling. He had a large circle of amazing friends that were always there to lend a helping hand when needed.

Frank is survived by his son, Matthew C. Libby and wife Christine of New Durham, NH; grandson, Cameron Libby and girlfriend Miranda Snow of Waterboro, ME; sister, Patricia Libby of Salem, MA; niece, Nicole Black and husband Chris of Danvers, MA; and nephew, Roger Chenard and wife Diane of Franklin, TN. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Chenard.

ARRANGEMENTS: No formal services will be held at this time. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
