Freda D. Ayer

FREDA D. AYER SALEM, NH - Freda D. Ayer, of Pelham, NH, died Monday, June 25, 2007 at the Salem Haven Nursing Home, Salem NH. Freda was born on July 29, 1915 in Veazie, Maine. She moved to Andover, MA from 1956 to 1959 and Tewksbury, MA from 1959 to 1980 and settled in Windham/Pelham, NH during the last twenty seven years. Freda was an accomplished baker and received many commendations for her baked bread, blueberry and rhubarb pies. Freda was blessed in life and is survived by her son and daughter in law John and Elizabeth Ayer of Nashua, NH, and her daughters and sons in law, Wendy and Donald Crossley of Pelham, NH and Roxanne and John Moore of Wakefield NH; 7 grand children; Carolyn Donahoe and Jennifer Gagne of Marietta, GA; Dawn Melanson of Manchester, NH, Douglas Crossley of Washington, ME, Jeff Crossley of Pelham, NH, Heidi Brown of Rochester, NH and Lee (Michael) Brown of Dover, NH, and 9 great grand children; and her sister Winifred Pulkinen, of Guilford, ME. A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church, Pelham, NH on Tuesday, July 3rd 2007, at 11:00 AM.
