Frederick J. Barry Rollinsford, NH Age 79, died Saturday September 24, 2005 at his home, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Methuen, MA. On September 19, 1926 to John & Louise (DeLan) Barry. He was raised in Kinsgton, but educated in Haverhill, MA. He graduated from Haverhill High School Class of 1945. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and had achieved the rank of Sergeant, he was honorably discharged. He had owned & operated Hallmark Travel Agency, with offices in Exeter, Seabrook, Durham & Rollinsford for over 20 years. He was an avid reader. He loved spending time with his family, especially taking his grandchildren fishing. He was a staunch advocate for local special interests, and gave freely of his time. He will be remembered as a private person, and a very devoted family man. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, June (Webb) Barry of Rollinsford. 2 sons; David Barry and his wife Susan of Strafford and Joseph Barry of Rollinsford. 3 daughters; Diana Barry of Berwick, ME., Lisa Barry of So. Berwick, ME. And Linda St. Pierre and her husband Daniel of Berwick, ME. 4 grandchildren; Derek Huppe, Nicole Reardon, Christopher Barry & Daniel Hogan. 1 sister; Ethel Bouchard of Amesbury, MA. Several nieces and nephews also survive him. He was pre-deceased by his parents, and his brother, John Richard Barry of Florida. There are no calling hours. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday October 1st, at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Church on Church Street in Rollinsford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of ones choice. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of the arrangements.
