Frederick James Livingston of Northfield, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on June 13, 2010 at the Hospice House in Concord, NH with his beloved family and faithful dog, Angel, by his side. He was born in New Britain, CT on April 9, 1930 to Frederick Livingston Sr. and Lillian Burgess. Fred served honorably and proudly in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He currently served as chaplain of the American Legion Post #58 in Belmont, NH. He was a master carpenter all his life and retired from Annalee Dolls in Meredith, NH. He enjoyed working in his own woodworking shop and spending summers camping at their seasonal campsite in the White Mountains. All of his family and friends will miss him dearly. He is survived by his wife Virginia with whom he would have celebrated 55 years of marriage on June 18th, daughters Kathleen Albert and her husband Steven of Northfield, NH and Laura Williams and her husband Lance of Concord, NH. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sisters Marion Wright and Doris Patterson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to: American Legion Post #58, 85 Brown Hill Road, Belmont, NH 03220. The committal service will be held at the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery, Boscawen at the convenience of the family.
