Frederick O'Brien

Frederick Martin O’Brien, age 66, died June 7, 2022. He was born August 5, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas. He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Zelia O’Brien. He leaves behind the love of his life, wife of 35 years, Cynthia Reed O’Brien.

Fred served 8 years in the U.S. Air Force and 33 years with the US Postal Service. He enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends and was an avid New York Yankees fan. Fred loved retirement; RV’ing, soaking up the sun, and playing card games with his wife were his favorite pastimes. Good luck if you were matched up against him in a game of pool. At 3:00PM each day, you could find Fred watching The Rifleman and he could recite any episode to you.

Fred is survived by his wife, Cindy, and their two children, daughter, Shannon, her husband Craig Ingalls and their two children Amelia and Spencer; and son Reed, his wife Heather and their soon-to-be-born son Bennett; his sisters, Cynthia O’Brien, and Susan Schaller and her husband Bob, and his brother, Patrick O’Brien and his wife Malissa; nieces and nephews, and many extended family and friends. If you feel the sun on your face, think of Fred.

ARRANGEMENTS: No formal services will be held at this time. A celebration of Freddy’s life will be held in the future. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to NH Make-A-Wish or the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
