Frederick "Fred" J. O'Connor, Sr., 88, of 23 Country Club Drive, died December 12, 2008 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Milan on February 11, 1920, the son of James and Helen (Flint) O'Connor. He was a long-time resident of Somerville, MA and had resided in Manchester for the past 25 years. He was a World War II Army Air Corps Veteran. He was a volunteer for the NH Fish and Game "Lets Go Fishing" Program. He belonged to the Pioneer Gun Club where he had been a hunter safety instructor. He was active with the Cashin Senior Center. He was the founder of the Somerville Little League, Southern Division. He was predeceased by a son, Frederick J. O'Connor, Jr., who died in 1968. He has also belonged to the American Legion, Sweeney Post. In His Life: Family members include his wife of 65 years, Rita E. (Lane) O'Connor; two daughters, Rita Brady and her husband Phil of Goffstown and Diane Breault and her husband Alain of Hooksett; eight grandchildren; Fred O'Connor and his wife Lisa of Groveland, MA, Keith Brady and his wife Kim of Bow, Melissa Brady of Salem, MA, Colleen Brady of Goffstown, Shannon Brady of Newport, RI, Christine Breault, Manon Breault and Ryan Breault, all of Hooksett; four great grandchildren, Christian, Sarah, Elise and Lochlann; He was also the beloved uncle of Lee Wilson, Leon Wilson and Laura Carlson all of Henniker. He will be remembered by his family as an avid amateur photographer and #1 fan of his grandchildren's numerous sporting events and activities. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday from 4 to 8 PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11:00 at the Parish of the Transfiguration. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the William B.
