Gail F. Rafftery-Leach

Gail Frances Rafftery-Leach, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away surrounded by her family on March 31, 2023, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. She was born on December 24, 1958, in Hartford, CT, to the late William and Maureen (Stanley) Rafftery.

Gail grew up as an "Air Force Brat," living around the world with her family, including Japan, Mt. Lebanon, PA, and England, where she graduated from high school and later married. She settled in Nashua, NH, where she raised her family and lived for most of her life. Gail had a long and successful career in retail management and sales in the furniture business for over 20 years.

Gail loved photography, spending time with her family and friends, and was involved in her children's lives, serving on the PTO and yearbook committee when they were young. She was a kind and caring person, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Gail is survived by her son, Chris Leach and his wife Melissa Russell-Leach, daughters, Jennifer O'Leary and her husband Jay O'Leary, and Elizabeth Dembkoski and her husband David Dembkoski. She also leaves behind her sisters, Susan Rafftery and Joanne Sauvan, her grandchildren Ryleigh Goodwin, Baylee Russell, Taylor Goodwin, and Gavin Leach, her niece Alex Sherring and nephew Nick Sauvan, as well as multiple cousins, extended family members and friends across the globe. In addition to her parents, Gail was predeceased by her former husband, David Leach. Gail will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 6^th at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Family and friends are invited to gather from 5-7PM followed by a memorial service at 7PM. For those who cannot attend in person, the 7PM memorial service will be available via livestream at https://csnh.com/streaming/
