Gail B. Thimont

Gail B. Thimont, 74, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2023 with her loving husband by her side.

Gail was born on August 21, 1949 to the late Camille and Dorothy (Boucher) Nadeau in Nashua, where she was raised most of her life. She was educated in Nashua schools and earned a master’s degree at UNH to become a Speech Pathologist. Prior to her retirement, she worked for Glendale High School in Arizona for over 10 years, but was proud to have over 40 years of experience in her field.

During a two-week trip to Paris, she met the love of her life and soon-to-be-husband, Jean-Marc Thimont; After a period of visiting between France and the US, they eventually settled down in New Hampshire marrying on April Fool’s Day, April 1, 2001 – a day they could never forget. Gail was known as the sweetest person with a kind nature. She was independent and had a taste for good food, shopping, and traveling. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Along with her husband of 22 years, Jean-Marc, Gail is survived by her brother Guy Nadeau of Nashua; her mother in law Bernadette Thimont; brothers in law, Gilles (Isabelle) Thimont, Christian (Martine) Thimont, and Philippe (Nelly) Thimont; sisters in law, Michele (Francois) Perrin, and Evelyne (Francis) Guery; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Camille and Dorothy; sister Joan Brigante; nephew Justin Woodward; father in law Roger Thimont; and sister in law Marie-Hélène Thimont.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4^th from 2-3pm at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A memorial service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend and enjoy refreshments after the services.
