Gary Russell Fleisher, 64, died January 12, 2023 peacefully at home asleep in his bed with no pain or discomfort. Gary graduated from High School with his diploma. He worked in Janitorial services for most of his life. He had a very religious background and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church every Sunday. He loved baseball, the Red Sox were his favorite, watching Movies, reading Books, T- Shirts with “funny sayings” on them and video calling with his father, brother, daughter and his grandchild, Isabella on The Facebook Portal. His favorite restaurants he enjoyed eating out at were Burger King, Applebee’s and the Golden Corral. He loved Pepperoni Pizza, Chinese Food and our holiday tradition Crummy Pork Chops. His favorite soda was Pepsi but then switched to diet due to his health.

Memories of Gary:

Gary loved to praise God by singing in the choir as an adult and with his family quartet as a child at their Baptist Church.

His Daughter enjoyed spending quality time together during the holidays, family dinners in NH, the week he came to visit us in SC, the time he spent getting to know his grandchild Isabella, his laugh, sense of humor and of course his sarcasm.

Gary's last and final meal was his favorite “Crummy Pork Chops“ his daughter had made him after all these years when she came home to visit with him just recently for the holidays. He got to finally meet in person his grandchild, Isabella for the first time. We all prayed, ate and celebrated Christmas together along with his father for the first time in a long time. He was truly waiting to see us and the day after our visit his journey to heaven began. We were truly blessed to have this time together.

God saw you getting weary.
He did what He thought was best. He put his arms around you and said, Come and Rest. He opened up His glory gates on that heartbreaking day, and with His arms around you, you gently slipped away. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

A funeral service will be held in Gary’s honor. We would love for you to come and celebrate his life with us at Cornerstone Baptist Church located at:
