Gavin C. Decker

Gavin Cole Decker, 10 years old, of Boscawen, NH, died on January 15, 2022, from a brain tumor.

Gavin was born in Concord, NH on April 4, 2011to Kristen (Browning) Decker and Michael Decker and attended Boscawen Elementary School. He enjoyed playing soccer, video games, his puppets, Kermit and Marvel Characters, hiking, swimming, telling jokes, making people smile, giving and getting hugs, and just being with his brothers, sister, and cousins. He loved spending time with his dog, Roman, his favorite kitty, Steve, and his bearded dragon, Peaches. He also enjoyed attending Sunday School at Boscawen Congregational Church and he loved Jesus.

Gavin is survived by his mother, Kristen Decker and her partner, Chris Jesus; his father, Michael Decker; his maternal great-grandmother Claire Browning; his maternal great-grandfather Michael Bresnahan and his wife Shellie; his maternal grandmother, Janice Bresnahan and her husband Brian Bresnahan; his maternal grandfather, Wayne Browning; his paternal grandmother Jackie Meservey and her husband Chuck Meservey; his paternal grandfather, Michael Decker and his wife Lynn Decker; his brothers Jaydin Decker and Michael Decker, III; his sister Madilynn LaBrecque; his sister Hailie Decker; his Aunt Nikki Browning and her partner Patrick Millette; his Uncle Greg Riley, Uncle Charlie Meservey, Uncle Floyd Brigham, and Uncle Ryan Bresnahan and his wife Keely; and cousins Gauge Amrol and Abel Brigham. He also leaves behind numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins, friends, and teachers.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Boscawen Congregational Church, 12 High Street in Boscawen, NH. A reception will follow at Alan’s of Boscawen Restaurant. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one of the following: Bayada Hospice, Make-A-Wish Foundation, or the Childhood Cancer Lifeline of New Hampshire.
