George E. Doherty

George E. Doherty, Jr., 58, of Bedford died September 26, 2005 at the Laurel Center following an accident. He was born on January 18, 1947 in Everett, MA the son of the late George and Shirley (Hanson) Doherty, Sr. George’s passion for the outdoors includes hunting and fishing all over the United States. Family members include; one brother, Steven J. Doherty of Chester; one sister, Sandra Raymond of Boxford, MA; several nieces and nephews; and a roommate and best friend, Bruce Smith. There will be a Memorial Reception of Friday, September 30th from 7:00 until 8:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 8:00 PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in George’s memory to Beacon Hospice, 529 Main Street, Suite 101, Charlestown, MA 02129.
