George R. Hinman

George R. Hinman, 62, of 22 Woodvue Road in Windham died on July 1, 2002 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry after a brief bout with cancer. Mr. Hinman was born on September 5, 1939 in Willimantic, Connecticut the son of the late Russell and Helen (Sugrue) Hinman. He was a U S Army Veteran and served during the Berlin Crisis. Mr. Hinman was a wholesale automobile dealer and operated 128 of NH for over 20 years. He was a member of the Elks Club of Salem and the American Legion of Windham. Family members include; his wife of 37 years, Hanne (Obst) Hinman; one daughter, Mrs. Thompson (Catherine) Parker of Bow; two granddaughters, Haley and Libby Parker; one sister, Fay Towle of Laconia; one niece and one nephew; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. A Memorial Reception will be held on Monday, July 8th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A Memorial Mass will be celebrate on Tuesday, July 9th at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Windham. Burial will take place at a later date this summer in the family lot in Connecticut. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714.
