George R. Hinman

George R. Hinman, 62, of 22 Woodvue Road in Windham died on July 1, 2002 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry after a brief bout with cancer. Mr. Hinman was born on September 5, 1939 in Willimantic, Connecticut the son of the late Russell and Helen (Sugrue) Hinman. He was a U S Army Veteran and served during the Berlin Crisis. Mr. Hinman was a wholesale automobile dealer and operated 128 of NH for over 20 years. He was a member of the Elks Club of Salem and the American Legion of Windham. Family members include; his wife of 37 years, Hanne (Obst) Hinman; one daughter, Mrs. Thompson (Catherine) Parker of Bow; two granddaughters, Haley and Libby Parker; one sister, Fay Towle of Laconia; one niece and one nephew; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. A Memorial Reception will be held on Monday, July 8th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A Memorial Mass will be celebrate on Tuesday, July 9th at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Windham. Burial will take place at a later date this summer in the family lot in Connecticut.
