George W. Lindenberger, 74, of Venice, FL, and Weare, NH, died September 10, 2009, in The Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH, after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was born in Needham, MA, and grew up in Natick, MA, and Potsdam, NY. He married Rose M. Aldrich in 1956 and moved to Norwood, MA, where he worked for Northrup Grumman for 35 years. He served six years in the Army National Guard. Family members include his wife of 53 years, Rose; a daughter, Louise A. Gelinas of Manchester, NH, and her husband, Dennis Gelinas; a son, Curt W. Lindenberger of North Attleboro, MA and his wife, Ann (Gregory); and seven grandchildren Jill Gelinas, Leslie (Gelinas) Lazio, Sarah Bordonaro, Alyssa Bordonaro, Brett Bordonaro, Erick Lindenberger, and Evan Lindenberger as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents J. George and Louise (Krug) Lindenberger and his sister, Eleanor Russell, of West Stockholm, NY. Services: An hour of visitation is Wednesday, September 16, at 12 noon, at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire 243 Hanover Street at the corner of Union Street in Manchester, immediately followed at 1:00 pm by a Memorial Service. Family members will hold a private interment at a later date at the Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA.
