George M. Moore

George M. Moore Jr., 84, of 10 North Main Street in Newton, NH died December 22, 2002 at Exeter Hospital after a period of declining health. Mr. Moore was born on September 18, 1918 in Marlborough, MA, son of the late George M. and Rhoda (Coombs) Moore Sr. He graduated from Worcesterpoly Technical Institute in 1940 with an electrical engineering degree. He was a US Army Lieutenant in the Signal Corps. during World War II where he spent most of his time in India. After returning from the war Mr. Moore worked as an electrical engineer throughout the country. He retired in September of 1983 after 19 years with Instrumentations Laboratory Inc. in Lexington, MA where he was employed as an electrical engineer. Mr. Moore was a Mason and was on the Newton Planning Board. He was the widow of Norma Fraser Moore who died in January 2001. Per his request there will be no services.
