George Martin Neskey, 92, son of Stephen and Domicella (Dzuentis) Neskey passed away at home with his family by his side on February 18, 2021. Born at home in Pelham on January 27, 1929, he was a graduate of Lowell High before joining the Merchant Marines. He worked at several trucking companies before starting his own company in Pelham, George Neskey Const. Co. Inc. People knew he could be found at the "shed" enjoying a good cigar. He was elected and served as Highway agent in Pelham for 22 years.
George was a long standing member of the Salem/Derry Elks and the Good Road Association. He enjoyed RV traveling and island cruises. He most enjoyed his fishing trips with his many friends to Back Lake in Pittsburg NH and bringing friends and family out on the ocean on "The Impossible Dream". George will be remembered as a generous, giving man with his bright blue eyes.
Married to Kathleen Stack for 62 blissful years. Survived by two sons Scott and wife Kathy, and Paul, two daughters Jody and her husband Paul DeCarolis, Tammy and her husband Ken Camire. Grandchildren Andrew, Amy and husband Avery Walter, Alex DeCarolis, Michael and Matthew Camire, Ethan, Evan and Jordan. Tara MacLennan and husband Alex, great grandchildren, Delilah and Tucker, many nieces and nephews, and his lifelong friend Charlie Potter. Predeceased by son Jeff Neskey, brothers Steve, Tony, John, Stanley and sister Ann Neskey.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. We ask that you do an act of kindness in his memory.
