George Joseph Newport

George ''Joseph'' Newport, Sr., 71, of Charlestown, NH died on June 5, 2000 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH Mr. Newport was born on July 26, 1928 in Burlington, VT the son of the late George and Bertha Mary (Worthen) Newport. He was a U S Military Veteran. He was a truck driver, laborer and worked in a flashlight factory in Hinsdale, NH and retired in 1990. Family members include; four sons, William Newport, Billy Newport, Jamie Goodell and George Newport, Jr.; five daughters, Jackie Newport, Debora Newport-Burns, Susan Foster, Terri Newport and Donna Newport; fourteen grandchildren; one brother, Dickie Newport.
