George "Skip" Sheldon

George "Skip" Sheldon, 72 of Rochester passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at home surrounded by family.
George was the son of Alvin and Dorothy (Nisbet) Sheldon. Born on September 1, 1946 in Rochester. George was a proud member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include; his long time companion and dog Junior; his daughter, Julie Landry and husband Rick; best friend and sister, Shirley Grondin; his niece that he loved like a daughter, Dee Mondou and husband Mike; nephews, Marshell Chandler and wife Kim and Randy Chandler; and special friend Sandy. He was predeceased by his son Scott Sheldon.

Family and friends are welcome to join us for a celebration of life being held on Friday, June 28 at 69 Sampson Rd, Rochester from 3-6pm.
