Howie loved to cook and have many of the family and their spouses and friends join him and Beverly at their Merrimack home sharing laughs and food cooked with love. He was the family chef. He knew everyone’s favorite food and prepared it whenever they were present. He found incredible joy watching his grandchildren play sports, ride horses, build sandcastles at the beach and joining him eating lobsters on a hot summer day. Howie loved to eat out and had many regular spots that he frequented often.
His career started at King’s Department Stores alongside his fiercely loyal friend David Gerow, and later at Anne & Hope as a buyer. While his three sons attended Bishop Guertin High School he was President of the Bishop Guertin Men’s Club , donating time and merchandise towards fundraising.
