George E. Tardif

George Tardif, 66, formerly of Manchester, died June 19, 2004 at the Merimack County Nursing Home following a long illness. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 19, 1937, the son of Joseph and Anna (Devine) Tardif and had lived most of his life in Lynn, MA. He had also been a Manchester area resident for over 20 years. He was a machinist throughout most of his career. He was the widow of Arlene Tardif who died in 1995. Family members include two sons, Joseph Tardif of Lynn, MA and Thomas Tardif of Derry; two daughters, Catherine Tardif of Malden, MA and Maria Lwowski of Leominster, MA; several grandchildren; three brothers, John Tardif and Robert Tardif both of MA and Joseph Tardif of Manchester; three sisters, Joan Tardif and Martha Tardif both of MA and Maryanne Ryan of Alton Bay, NH; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. There will be a Memorial Reception at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday, June 22nd from 1:00 until 2:00 PM with a Memorial Service to follow in the Cremation Society Chapel at 2:00.
