George H. Themelis

George H. Themelis, 65, a lifelong resident or Manchester died April 15, 2002 at Hospice House in Concord after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Born April 25, 1936 in Manchester he was the son of the late Arthur and Beatrice (Harrington) Themelis. George is loved and missed by family members including; two sons, Michael Themelis and George Themelis Jr., both of Manchester; one daughter, Kristen Patton of Santa Barbara, CA; former wife, Carol Themelis of Manchester; three granddaughters, Epiphany Themelis of Manchester and Sklyer Patton and Grace Patton both of Santa Barbara, CA; a sister, Patricia Langley of Rye, NH; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He graduated from Bishop Bradley High School and attended Notre Dame University and Boston University. He was the former district manager of the local Sun Life Insurance of Canada. He was an independent insurance broker for many years and owned Harrington Financial Services. George will be remembered by all for his warm heart, great sense of humor and joyful giving of self to all the lives he touched. He had deep faith in God, attending daily mass at St. Catherine's Church where he was a parishioner. Now he is at Peace with the Lord. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 20th at 11:30 AM at St. Catherine's Church, Hemlock and Webster Street, in Manchester.
