George M. Voltz, Jr.

George Miller Voltz, Jr. died on Friday, June 24, 2022 at his home on Pawtuckaway Lake where he spent most of his early childhood and adult life.  He was born on July 20, 1954 in Port Chester, NY; he later lived in Westwood, MA.  George was predeceased by his parents, George M. Voltz, Sr. and Marion F. (Fish) Voltz. 

George graduated from Westwood High School in 1972. He was employed as a salesman for many years at various companies including Barnes Distribution, KAR Products and Lawson Products to name a few.

George was best known for his infectious laughter and radiant smile.  He was also known for the desserts he made especially his cheese cakes, rum balls, martini balls amongst numerous other desserts.  During his life he developed a great love for photography, hiking Pawtuckaway Mountain, doing 10 mile hikes with his sister Jan, driving his Jeep with the top down and spending time with his nieces, nephews, family and friends.  George also had a undying love for all of his pets.

George is survived by his wife, Carol (Lynch), his two cats, Dylan, Raylan and his puppy, Shelby.  He is also survived by his two brothers Kenneth W. Voltz, Donald A. Voltz and sister Janice Voltz and many nieces and nephews whom meant the world to him. 

A memorial gathering will be held at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104 on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in his memory to be to American Cancer Association.  Make a donation to American Cancer Society (National Home Office) in memory of George M. Voltz., Jr.
