Geraldine L. Bernard

Geraldine ''Gerry'' L. Bernard, 70 of Kingston Pines died on May 12, 2002 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a lengthy illness. Ms. Bernard was born on November 25, 1931 in Portland, Maine the daughter of the late Denado and Leora (Annis) Franco. She was raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts and moved to Kingston, NH in the summer of 2000. She was a housekeeper for the Hampton Inn in Lawrence for several years and then spent the next five years working for Lawrence General Hospital also in housekeeping. She was a Chuck Norris fan. Family members include; two sons, Dennis Settle of Oklahoma City, OK and Robert W. Gamble of Amarillo, Texas; seven daughters, Elizabeth Higginbottom of Auburn, NH, Roberta Schneider of Lawrence, MA, Geraldine Gamble of Miami, FL, Susan Craven of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Thomasina Armengol of Miami, FL, Dawn Marie Rogers of Offerman, GA and Virginia Paiva of Sandown, NH; 32 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; one sister, Marjorie Foote of Lansing, MI; many nieces and nephews; several cousins. Ms. Bernard was predeceased by a son, John Bernard. A Memorial Reception will be held on Wednesday, May 15th from 11:00 until 12:00 with a Memorial Service at noon at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester.
