Geraldine “Geri” Larrabee, 77, of Peterborough, New Hampshire, formerly of Westbrook, Maine, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, after a long illness.
Born in 1947 in Chelsea, Massachusetts, and raised in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anne (Patacke) Mikulka and sister of the late Robert Mikulka.
Geri graduated from Danvers High School in the Class of 1965 and later earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification from Central Maine Vocational Technical Institute in 1974 where she was the Treasurer of her class.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Bagley and his wife Diana of Townsend, Massachusetts, and Keith Bagley and his wife Alison of Buena Vista, Colorado. Geri was a devoted grandmother to four beloved grandchildren.
Geri spent most of her adult life in Maine, where she worked at Maine Medical Center until her retirement in 2012. She loved the outdoors—especially kayaking and walking with neighborhood friends and her cherished goldendoodle—and found great joy in time spent with her grandchildren. A talented crafter, she was known for creating beautiful keepsake quilts that she lovingly gifted to her family.
Her final years were spent under the compassionate care of the staff at Scott-Farrar at Peterborough Assisted Living Community.
A private family service will be held to honor Geri’s life. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
