Geraldine E. Ross

Geraldine "Gerry" Elizabeth (Brown) Ross, 78, passed away on Christmas Day, 12/25/2020 at her home in Salem NH where she resided with her daughter and grandchildren. She was born on June 18th, 1942 in Medford Massachusetts, the daughter of the late John Charles Brown Sr. and the late Dorothy Elizabeth (Moore) Brown. Gerry grew up in Wilmington Massachusetts, and later lived in the Greater Boston area with her six children. She loved to cook for her family and was a collector of all kinds of things! She frequently shopped antique stores for anything odd or cheerful! She was known by her family as "Amar", a name she had given herself when she became a grandmother! There is only one Amar; truly one of a kind. Mom was full of life, love, and hope. She was a strong, resilient, and determined (stubborn!) woman who loved her family more than anything! Her values, morals, and laughter will live within us for generations to come.

Gerry is survived by her sons Ivan James Ross, his wife Robyn Louise (Sawyer) Ross, David John Ross, Stephen Michael Ross, Paul Thomas Ross, Anthony Joseph Masters, his wife Schaillee (Butler) Masters, and her daughter Robyn Elizabeth (Ross) O'Connell, her grandchildren Richard James "RJ" Pauley III, Atlanta Brianna Ross, Delaney May Ross, Sydney Rae Ross, Kaitlyn Emily Ross, Jessica Kelly Ross, Raymond Nathaniel Bostock, Zachary Michael Bostock, Lauren Elizabeth Ross, Samantha Nicole O'Connell, Sean Matthew O'Connell, Avery Joseph Masters, Estelle "Stella" Elizabeth Masters and her great-grandchildren Kayden James Dukette and Chase Joseph LaPointe, brothers John "Jackie" Charles Brown, Stephen Douglas Brown Sr, his wife Phyllis Emma (Babineau) Brown, David Lee Brown, his wife Susan Ann (Hardy) Brown, niece Autumn Lani (Brown) Lovas, and her husband Nathan John Ingvald Lovas, nephews the late John Charles Brown III, Gordon Scott Ferreira Brown, Stephen Douglas Brown Jr., Shaw Kenneth Brown, his wife Tine Gry (Hansen) Brown, Leland Sage Brown, his wife Elise Nichole (Hinger) Brown. Gerry is also survived by many cousins far and wide.

At this time there will not be a formal service. We will have a private ceremony at Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington MA.

We will be celebrating the life of beautiful and wonderful Mom (Amar) in June on her Birthday!
