Geraldine Little Strachan, Bow, NH

Geraldine Little Strachan, “Gerry”, passed away peacefully at her son’s home in Concord, New Hampshire at the age of 101 on May 13, 2026. Her husband, Kenneth John Strachan predeceased her in 2000. Gerry was the daughter of Isabelle Nelson Little who was raised in Norristown, Pennsylvania and Earl Herbert Little raised in Colebrook, New Hampshire.

She leaves her daughter Cynde Strachan Robbins and her husband Wayne, her son Bill Strachan and his wife Cindy Lou, her grandchildren Joanne Hall Burke and husband Joe, Sara Savoy Strachan, and Dylan Strachan.

Gerry was raised in Concord and graduated high school there. She graduated from UNH and was married the summer she graduated. She lived all of her married life raising her family in Bow, New Hampshire. Gerry worked at Wilbur’s Hardware Store in Concord in the housewares department for many years until retirement.

Gerry was dedicated to her family and could be counted on to do whatever she could to lighten their lives. She liked to cross stitch, to garden, to preserve the harvest and was part of a decorative painting group for many years. After her husband died, Gerry spent many summers with Cynde at Blaisdell Lake in Sutton where her father had built a camp in 1938 for the family to enjoy.

All who knew her loved her. She will be missed and now is at peace with God.

Burial will be private.
