Gerard A. Dubuque, 87, of Henniker died September 17, 2004 at Hospice House in Concord. Mr. Dubuque was born on August 20, 1917 in Webster, MA the son of the late Arthur and Clarinda (Marien) Dubuque. He was a US Army veteran serving in the army air corps in the Aleutian Islands during World War II. He was honorably discharged in 1945 and attained the rank of Sergeant. Mr. Dubuque and his wife owned and operated Scotty’s Camera Shop and Studio in Keene for 18 years. Mr. Dubuque was an avid photographer who enjoyed photography both inside and outside his studio. He and his wife retired to Henniker in 1981. He loved spending time traveling the east coast with his wife. Family members include; his wife of 63 years, Virginia (Morrissey) Dubuque; two daughters, Joanne Dubuque Stroshine of Charlotte, NC and Jeanne Dubuque Sterling of Dublin, NH; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Mass on Friday, September 24th at 11:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church on Old West Hopkinton Road in Henniker with burial to follow in New Cemetery.
