Gerard L. Thibodeau, 75, of Rumney, passed away on September 30, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Dover, NH on June 15, 1947, and is the beloved husband of Priscilla (Turcotte) Thibodeau with whom he shared more than 54 years of marriage. Together, they raised a family and traveled the world. Jerry also leaves behind two daughters, Christine and Sherrie; five grandchildren, Alex, Cari, Vanessa, Sabrina, and Becky; four great grandchildren, Mason, Felicity, Jesse, and Sylvie; and six siblings. His love and guidance will be sorely missed.
Jerry had many titles throughout his life. He was a politician, mentor, and philanthropist to name a few. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was very proud of his work in volunteering and as an officer of the Pemigewasset Valley Fish & Game Club. He owned and operated a union construction company, Thibco, Inc., for almost 30 years. His carpentry work can be found in 8 different states across the country, and he was a proud member of Boston Carpentry Union Local 328.
A celebration of life will be held at Jerry and Priscilla's home in Rumney, NH on October 29th, from 11am to 4pm. Military honors will begin at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry's memory may be made to cancer research.
