Gertrude A. Dukette

Gertrude “Gert” Dukette, 96, a longtime resident of Penacook, NH, died Tuesday, October 31, 2007 at the Harris Hill Nursing Home in Concord, NH. She was born on July 17, 1910 in Epping, the daughter of Alfred and Annie (Glover) Cassady. Gert, as her family and friends knew her, had worked at Shoe Mill in Manchester. She enjoyed Family and friends, and loved gardening. Her family members include her daughter Donna Whiton of Washington; her sister Adeline Nicolaides of Epsom; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband John Dukette; two daughters, Betty Fife and Marie Perrault and a brother, Charles Cassady. There are no calling hours. Services will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Dukette’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
