Friday, February 10th, 2023, Glady passed away peacefully at the Jack Byrne Hospice Center in Lebanon, NH after a sudden decline in health at the age of 65.  She passed with her sister Debbie at her side.  Remotely, the family was able to share their love and tell her how much she meant to them while she was at the Hospice Center.

Glady was born January 26th, 1958, to Gladys (Reynolds) Stevens and Orland F. (Bud) Stevens Jr. in South Natick at 102 Glen Street in the home their dad Bud Stevens built. Glady grew up with many great friends and fun events by the Charles River and South Natick.

Her first job was at Helen Cross Bakery downtown Natick, next to where her mother (Travel Trust Tours) and sister Debbie (First National Bank of Natick) worked. After she graduated from Natick High School and worked at Sun Life of Canada in Wellesley, Ma for several years.

 

She married Mike Twamley and moved to Andover New Hampshire, where they started their family with 2 sons Mike and Alan, she was so proud of them. She was a Football mom and supported her boys. Later in life she married Gary Wilcox and moved to North Carolina to be close to Gary’s children. Gary passed away not too long ago.

 

Glady worked as a Quality assurance admin secretary at Watts water technologies for many years before she pursued an RN Nursing degree from NHCTC technical college in Laconia. She was a nurse at New Hampshire Veterans and Belknap County Nursing Homes.

 

Glady was living in Grafton, with her son Mike, who took the best care of her and a dear man Graham till she passed.

 

Preceded by her parents - Gladys Jean (Reynolds) Stevens and Orland (Bud) F Stevens Jr., and wife Ruth. Her older sister Gertrude (Trudy) Jennings, Brother Orland (Bud) Stevens lll, and stepsister Judy Keating.

 

Glady is survived by her two sons, Michael S. Twamley of Grafton, NH, and Alan R. Twamley of Belmont NH, and Alan’s partner Gina Rossomango. Her sister, Deborah F. (Debbie) Ruiz and her husband Peter E. Ruiz Sr. of Uxbridge, MA., brother-in-law William J. (Billy) Jennings of Reading, MA., stepsister Nancy Waltos, of Franklin, NH., and Sister-in-law Dawn Stevens of Mendon, MA. Her loving Uncle John (Skippy) Reynolds of Paisley Florida.

 

She adored her Grandchildren - Kya, Mikey, Alan, Adam, Alea, and Abby Twamley. She loved to tell her grandchildren spooky stories. Abby shared a special love with her Nana and loved the way she made her Laugh. She would repeatedly play her favorite movie Tombstone. She loved to listen to music as much as she could and loved Aerosmith’s, Steven Tyler

 

Glady loved her nieces and nephews – Peter Ruiz Jr, Elizabeth Ruiz, and James Ruiz, Peter Jennings, Christopher Jennings, David C. Keating and Sheri Gonthier.

She enjoyed her Great nieces and nephews – Brittany, Justin, Kasey, Max, Zachary, Gabriella, Jacob, Jack, Finn, Abby, and Ava.

Intern arraignments, to be held at Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick, Ma., not determined at this time.
