Glenn David Rogers

Glenn David Rogers, 70, died on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 at home in Penacook, NH after along and hard fought battle with cancer. He was born on January 4, 1955 in Putnam, CT, the son of Eugene and Evelyn (Durand)Rogers.

He was the loving husband of Sheila Rogers (Miller) who lost her own battle with cancer in 2022. They were married on January 30, 1982 in Oxford, MA.

Glenn was a skilled auto body mechanic and painter whose innate talent and creativity, not only supported his beloved family, but also impressed and inspired friends and colleagues.

Glenn is survived by his daughters Gina and her husband Jonathan Sandlin, Misty and her husband Scott Bennett, Leigh Ann and her husband Ron Allard and sons, Donnie and his wife Karen, and Corey and his wife, Carrie, sisters Geraldine Rogers, Charlene Antkowiak, and Jacqueline Marcotte, and sisters-in-law Tammy Miller, Valerie and her husband Stephen Zuidema, and Diane Fosgate, and several nieces and nephews.

Glenn also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, Samuel (Sam-the-Man) and Evelyn (Evvi-Bean) Sandlin, Marcus (Buck), Marley (Buggy), and Autumn (Autumn Liz) Rogers, Tyler Gay, Samantha and Bradley Bennett, Shawn, Alexander, Katelynn Rogers and Daniel Rogers. He was a proud great grandfather of Levi, Lexi (Lulu), and Leah, and baby Luna expected this summer.

A devoted husband for 40 years, Glenn was heartbroken by the loss of his wife and best friend almost three years ago. He devoted the remainder of his life to his children and grandchildren. They were his greatest joy, and he had no idea how much joy he also brought to them by making each one of them feel special and loved beyond measure. He was more than a grandfather to them, having spent the last seven years raising three of them, he was a father figure and best friend, too.

Glenn also leaves behind many loving and loyal friends, including Dennis Ryder, Gibb and Pati Jones, Maryann White, Kenny Merrill, Mark and Val Deshaies, Al Brett, Richie Vickery and many others. He treasured his friends as family and looked forward to their Wednesday night coffee even in his last weeks of life.
