Glenn Louis Tillson, 65, passed away on October 19, 2025, in Manchester, New Hampshire. Born on March 23, 1960, in Salem, Massachusetts, Glenn lived a life full of energy, compassion, and deep-rooted passions that touched the lives of many.
A graduate of Trinity High School in Manchester, Glenn remained closely connected to his community throughout his life. He was known for his vibrant spirit and zest for life—qualities that were evident in everything he did. Whether racing boats across the water or cheering on his beloved New England sports teams—especially the Celtics—Glenn embraced every moment with enthusiasm.
Glenn had a deep love for water sports and spent countless hours boating and water skiing. His passion for motorcycles added another layer to his adventurous nature. Music also played a significant role in his life; he found joy attending concerts and sharing those experiences with others. An avid animal lover, Glenn’s compassion extended beyond people to the creatures he cared so deeply about.
His faith remained an important part of his journey, strengthened through the guidance and support of Russ Stratton. That spiritual connection brought him comfort and resilience throughout his life.
Family meant a great deal to Glenn. He is remembered by his brothers Gary Tillson and Gregg Tillson; his nephew Ben Tillson; and his niece Victoria Tillson. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Stratten Lipka, father John Louis Tillson, and sister Karen Tillson McClain.
Among those who held a special place in Glenn’s heart was Umesh—a devoted friend who went far beyond the role of caretaker. Umesh stood by Glenn daily with unwavering dedication and friendship that brought light into Glenn’s life.
Glenn will be remembered as compassionate, loving, and caring—a man whose presence brought warmth to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
