Gloria P. MacDowell

Gloria Pauline MacDowell, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. She was born on December 27, 1959, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Theresa (Bourque) Gagnon and the late George Gagnon.

Gloria graduated from Manchester West High School and had a career spanning 40 years at Velcro USA, Inc.

Gloria enjoyed going on walks, spending time with loved ones, and experiencing new adventures. She loved a good game of cribbage and enjoyed the family tradition of playing Thirty-One. She was strong, selfless, loving, and has endured more in the past year than some have experienced in a lifetime, and she never gave up. She has left this earth too soon but will always remain in our hearts.

In addition to her father, Gloria is preceded in death by her brother Ronald Gagnon.

Gloria leaves behind her sons, Matthew, his wife Alisha and their son Connor of Wolcott, CT and Brian, his wife Cate, and their daughter Autumn of Newport Beach, CA; Sisters Denise and her husband Rick of Albany, NH and Lucy and her husband Mike of Orchard Park, KS and her mother Theresa Gagnon of Manchester, NH. Gloria is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as their families.

All are welcome to attend a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, NH. Gloria will be put to rest at a later date in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Connecticut.
