Gloria Savage passed away peacefully at the age of 94. She lived a long, full life marked by independence, devotion, and a deep commitment to the people she loved most.

Born in Nashua, N.H., Gloria was the daughter of Albert and Delima (Levesque) Diggins. She spent most of her life in Hudson, N.H., choosing to stay close to family and the community she knew so well. Gloria was a hard worker and a familiar face in town as the proprietor of the Dairy Queen in Hudson during the 1960’s and early 1970’s

Gloria was married to Edward Savage and was a dedicated and proud mother to her three children. Family was always at the center of her life. She cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, always showing up for the moments that mattered most, eager to attend activities, birthdays and family milestones.

She believed strongly in giving back and was a longtime member of the Lions Club for many years. She was awarded “Lioness of the Year” for her dedication to the organization.

Later in life, Gloria fulfilled a long-held dream of living in warmer climates and moved to Florida, where she enjoyed playing golf year-round. During that time, she worked as a teacher’s assistant, where her patience, warmth, and steady presence left a lasting impression. She returned to New Hampshire in 1998 to be closer to family.

Gloria, “Mem”, will be remembered for her strength, her reliability, and how she always put her family first. Her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was immense.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Edward, brothers Albert, Thomas, Roland, Richard, and Daniel, and her sisters Lucille Clark and Doris Dupont. She is survived by her brother, Roger Diggins, and her sister, Patricia Rodgers.

She is also survived by her daughters Catherine and her husband Raymond Daniels, Debra Lemay and her partner Joe Schneider, and her son Victor Lemay and his wife Lise; her grandchildren, Rhianna Daniels Hile and her husband Robert, Devin Weidner and her husband Michael, Christopher Lemay and his wife Lynn, and Jeffrey Lemay and his partner Kelsey; and her great-grandchildren, Camden and Bailey Weidner, Zackery Hile, and Austin Lemay.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at Hillsborough County Nursing Home for their wonderful care over the past few years.
