Gordon W. Bonnett

Gordon W. Bonnett, 74, of 7 Polly Ann Park in Dover died at home on December 1, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Bonnett was born on March 2, 1927 in Montgomery Center, Vermont the son of the late Felix and Mildred (Commings) Bonnett. He was a US Navy Veteran who served during World War II. He was a yardman for Central Vermont Railroad for 20 years and then began his career with U. H. C. in Burlington, Vermont where he was a plant operator. In his spare time he loved to spend time fishing with his wife. Family members include: his wife of 30 years, Nancy (Winn) Bonnett; one son, Larry Bonnett of Oceanside, CA; three daughters, Mrs. John (Lynn-dee) Hall of Strafford, Lizabeth Bonnett of Florence, SC and Leslie Corbin of Florence, SC; four grandchildren; one niece, Jeannine Edwards of Jefferson, VT; and his best friend, Pita.
