Gordon Paul Campbell

Gordon Paul Campbell, 73, of Manchester, N.H., passed away on February 15, 2017 after a period of declining health.

"Paul" was born in Boston, Massachusetts, son of the late Francis and Chrestina Campbell. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country. He moved to Merrimack, N.H. to raise his family with his wife and worked many years for Digital Equipment Corporation.

Paul is survived by Patricia, his wife of 42 years; his children and their families, Sandra and David Sweet and their children Michael and Alex; and Daniel and Oleksandra Campbell and their children Jacob, Elizabeth and Victoria.

Paul was a kind and gentle soul who was blessed with great creativity. He was a gifted artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. He was a master wood carver and created many artistic pieces. For several years, he enjoyed teaching wood carving at New Hampshire Institute of Art. Paul was a skilled guitar player and is also remembered for playing and singing with family and friends. He was a man of faith, active in the church community for many years and was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church in Merrimack, N.H.

Family and friends will gather for a memorial service to honor Paul's life at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, N.H. on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 2-4pm with a memorial reception immediately following.
