Gregory R. Ouellette, 31, died on July 19 at Massachusetts General Hospital, with his family by his side, after a hard fought, courageous battle with cancer.
Greg was born May 30, 1985 in Providence RI, graduated from Hopkinton High School and lived in Contoocook. He was employed at the Covered Bridge Restaurant prior to his illness. "Greggo" loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman and always looking for "Treasure."
Gregory is survived by his fiancé, Lindsay Hunt of Contoocook; his father and stepmother Joseph and Lisa Ouellette of Stoddard; his mother Michele (Duffy) Sarazin of Contoocook and her significant other Bryan Nowell of Goffstown; his brother Marc Ouellette of Wenham, MA; his sister Kelsie Ouellette of Concord; along with his grandmother, uncles, aunts, cousins and many, many friends who stood by his side during his prolonged illness.
Graveside service will be held at the Contoocook Cemetery on Penacook Road in Contoocook at 1 PM July 30, with a celebration of his life to follow at 3 PM at the Contoocook American Legion.
